Now receiving guests after the long hiatus due to the pandemic, Siladen Resort has rescheduled events it had planned for the last two years. Its next event, a week-long underwater videography workshop with Julie Ouimet and Michel Labrecque, promises to be an exciting occasion for participants to refine their videography skills, learn new video techniques, and become proficient at color-correcting and editing footage. The workshop is aimed at videographers of all levels—as well as still shooters who are keen to get into underwater filmmaking—regardless of what camera system they use.
Ouimet and Labrecque of N2Pix are both explorers and accomplished imaging pros who have traveled to every corner of the planet. They are known for their short films and documentaries, which have aired on TV and been screened at film festivals across Europe and North America.
If you’re interested in attending the workshop, which will take place from November 19th to 26th, get in touch with Siladen’s Guest Experience Manager Ana Fonseca. You can also arrange to extend your stay either side (or both sides) of the workshop. For a taste of the videography possibilities at Bunaken, make sure to check out Pepe Arcos’ wonderful short film, “Freediving the Magical Depths of Siladen.”
