Siladen Video Workshop with Julie Ouimet and Michel Labrecque in November 2021
By Ian Bongso-Seldrup, June 24, 2020 @ 01:00 AM (EST)

Siladen Resort may be taking a break from pampering guests and showing them the beauty of Bunaken National Marine Park, but that doesn’t mean they’re not planning some awesome workshops next year. After recently announcing their photo workshop with Lisa Collins in March, they’ve now organized what promises to be an amazing underwater videography workshop, led by award-winning filmmakers Julie Ouimet and Michel Labrecque from N2Pix.

In the weeklong workshop, from November 6th to 13th, 2021, participants will refine their videography skills, learn new video techniques, and become proficient at color-correcting and editing their footage. The workshop is aimed at videographers of all levels—as well as still shooters who are keen to get into underwater filmmaking—regardless of what camera system they use.

Ouimet and Labrecque are both explorers and accomplished imaging pros who have traveled to every corner of the planet. They are known for their short films and documentaries, which have aired on TV and been screened at film festivals across Europe and North America.

If you’re interested in attending the workshop, get in touch with Siladen’s Guest Experience Manager Ana Fonseca. You can also arrange to extend your stay either side (or both sides) of the workshop. For a taste of the videography possibilities at Bunaken, make sure to check out Pepe Arcos’ wonderful short film, “Freediving the Magical Depths of Siladen.”
