Jiri Reznicek

Jiri is a professional underwater photographer from The Czech republic. He started diving after his first visit to the marine world in a small submarine seven years ago. He first discovered the under water world without a camera, but after only one year, Jiri realized that he wanted to capture and show the beautiful world to others as well. He bought his first UW camera, a Nikonos V, and hasn't been diving without his photographic equipment since. Jiri has been successful in many international UW festivals and competitions in Europe, publishes his work in Czech diving magazines, exhibits his work, and is preparing to edit a book. Because The Czech republic doesn't have a sea, he learned to find a nice place in almost every lake, river or mountain lake, even in a pool. He has dived in many places between both of the polar circles and even behind theme. There is a very important person in his professional life, his wife Jana Reznickova who is Jiri's assistant, co-author and model all at the same time!

What I look for in a Dive Operator:
The most important thing is an interesting locality and a very experienced guide, who is skillful, eager to help and works only for his small group. The operator should provide an extra boat for ensuring undisturbed dives without other divers as far as possible.
