Peter G. Pinnock

Peter Pinnock started his underwater photography career 25 years ago. What began innocently as a hobby soon lurched out of control and turned into a career that has spanned 2 decades and 5 continents. Peter\'s pictures of the underwater world have appeared in numerous magazines and glossy coffee table books. His critics regard him as one of the best underwater photographers in Africa. Over the years Peter has accumulated an impressive number of awards. Words without pictures are meaningless, and with the partnership of Jeanne Liebetrau\'s creative writing, Peter\'s company, Underwater Images, was born. Together they have produced tales and imagery from the world\'s oceans. They continue to travel to distant locations to produce stories and to capture the ocean realm on film. Peter lives in Durban, South Africa where he dreams of exotic locations, clear water and has easy access to the best diving in Southern Africa.

My expectations of a dive operator are simple. I rely on an operator for their knowledge of the local dive conditions and animals. Once I am in the water I need to be left alone to go about the business of creating the images.
