My "underwater photographic style" took some time to develop. I wanted my images to be different to any other photographer. I spent a few years in developing an "artistic" style. Photographing contrasting colors and patterns rather than just a fish or a piece of coral. That's not to say that I don't have those images in my portfolio I have just photographed them also in an "artistic" style.

What I look for in a Dive Operator:
A lot of my diving is done off the beaten path, so when I am looking for a dive operator in the area I wish to go, I make sure they are part of a reputable dive organization such as PADI. I then try to go at the beginning of the season or just at the end. In doing this I quite often can get my own Dive Master, usually a local or someone who has dived the sites many times and can point out particular thing I want to photograph.
