I use to have a Nikon 10,5 but, underwater, the Tokina gives you the advantage of having diferent focal lengths even losing a little bit of quality.

I used to shout with the 10.5 nikon but something was missing - now I am not limited just to fish eye lens during the dive.
it has sometimes difficulties to focus.

Very good lens for wide angle photography. It's good at the entire focal range. Fast and can focus real close.

Good image quality, distortion is noticeable, close focus a plus, only advantage over the nikon 10.5 is the ability to zoom. I find that most of the time I am using it at 10mm.
