Pros: I love this underwater housing as it gives me full control of the camera. Its compact and "fits like a glove". My entire system minus the arms (Hugy body + fisheye dome + flat port + extension rings+ 2 strobes + fisheye focus/video light and cables) can be packed on a Pelican 1510 Carry On. That means my system is with me when I travel.
The hugycheck system is one of the best features for me. With it, you would know if the housing has a leak or not before entering the water. Moisture alarm also works very well.
They also have excellent after sales service here in the Philippines. Highly professional and passionate about underwater photography. I have spent several hours and loads of money after meeting him.
Cons: It uses 2 screws that need a wrench to seal it. One can easily misalign the camera inside the housing. You will only know if you got the alignment right after tightening the screws to seal it. If its misaligned, the buttons won't work, then you would have to open it and realign it. Time consuming. However, they have remedied this by putting a screw to act as a stopper inside and makes it less prone to misalignment.
Plus, after using the housing for several months, one of the tightening screws broke. The dealer immediately replaced the screw and said that this was a "freak" one of a kind incident. Maybe a defect on the screws.
Overall: I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a good well built system. I use my system almost every week and it is rugged enough to withstand the harsh conditions and heavy usage.
