SO EASY to use!!! I just upgraded from the Canon XTi and what a difference in ease of use (and the XTi was pretty darn easy) The quality of the pictures is significantly better, but I could go on and on about the HD Video capability. I have this is in an ikelite housing because I already had the strobes and ports (along with the TTL capability) I may change to a Sea and Sea at some point, when I am able to invest for a new rig, again, but for now, am quite pleased with this set up. Definitely reccommend the camera!!!
Bought the 5D MK II for it's video capabilities and am happy with ease of use and picture quality. A month after buying the 5D and then selling my Tokina 10-17 and Canon 60mm did they come out with 7D. If I were a new buyer and had lenses for a cropped sensor camera I would look seriously at the 7D.
Much better than my old Canon EOS 5D and much cheaper than the 1DS. The Fullframe CCD for shooting Wide Angle is a must. Large prints with 21 Million Pixels is no problem .Easy to use. Very satisfied. Best price buy.
A great portrait camera, however, with the limited FPS not that good for wildlife. Also, difficulty using auto focus in limited light such as is found underwater and in deep woods/jungle. I much prefer my Canon 50D; however with the write ups for the 7D, I would recommend a new buyer purchase that camera. Also, have discussed with a couple of pros who use Canon exclusively. They both recommend the 7D highly - and over the 1D MK IV
