Having used Ikelite housings for the past 10 years, I decided to switch to a more ergonomic housing when I upgraded from my canon 20D to the 5D MKII. It has made a tremendous difference in my ability to get the correct exposure, simply by being so ergonomic. All controls are easy to reach without fumbling around, which, unfortunately, was not the case with the Ikelite (although that was also a reliable housing). The port has a positive locking mechanism to the front of the housing, making leaks highly unlikely when you feel the lock engage. The camera easily comes out of the housing for removal of the memory card and battery without having to unscrew the camera from the baseplate. The housing has a very professional feel, and is well machined. When I ordered my housing from Aquatica in Montreal, I was guided through the process by Jean Bruneau, who was extremely helpful in ensuring I had the correct extensions and attachments for my gear. The AquaView viewfinder is a rather expensive option, but well worth it in the brightness and field of view that it offers.
