Among Germany's top contributions to the world are Porsches, great beer, and as far as Underwater Photography is concerned Tobias Friedrich. 

Tobias is one of the younger generation of photographers, joining the ranks of Keri Wilk, Imran Ahmad, Daniel Botelho, and Aaron Wong in pushing underwater photography to new and exciting places. 

Since having started his underwater photographic career in 2007, Tobias has created several iconic images, many of which have appeared in the numerous publications he has been featured in, as well as here on DivePhotoGuide. 

In addition to the large number of articles, he has also received awards in many prestigious Photo Competitions including Ocean Views, Epson Red Sea, and Celebrate the Seas. 

Tobias describes himself as "always passionate for new challenges and up for new, creative ways in underwater photography".  Below is a photo series showing off the diversity and exceptional talent of Tobias Friedrich.
