It is quite possible that Debra and Vincent Canabal of Epic Diving are two of the luckiest people in the diving industry. Okay, so luck isn’t the best term, since behind luck is typically a lot of hard work and dedication, but still. After all, how many people get to spend their year dodging between days with oceanic whitetips, hammerheads, tigers, dolphins, marlin, and whatever other travelers happen to be passing by the corner of ocean they are occupying at a particular time? So yes, where running a boat, juggling clients, and maintaining safety takes a tremendous amount of hard work, one might say that they truly have the best job in the world.

Fortunately for us, Debra and Vincent have documented their time in the water with great flair. As many of their clients are from a very special barrel of National Geographic, Discovery Channel, and Animal Planet shooters, these two have clearly picked up a thing or two. That combined with a keen sense of how the animals behave has led them to produce some stunning images that have wowed the underwater photography community around the world. No wonder everyone is itching to get to Bimini and Tiger Beach—it’s folks like Debra and Vincent who are making it look all too inviting!
