If you want your typical wedding photographs set against an idyllic garden scene or in a rented-out party room, you probably shouldn’t contact Greg Cain. But if you want to celebrate a new chapter embarking on a lifetime partnership by jumping into the ocean from a boat, surfboard or paddleboard, he’s your guy.
As a lifelong waterman, both as a surfer and competitive freediver, Greg (@CainPhotoStudios) simply can’t resist leaving the ocean out of his “trash the dress” style wedding photography.
But Greg’s love for all things ocean extends far beyond his images of lovebirds flying the coop to his Bali-based photography studio. Still an avid freediver, he always has his camera in hand to capture his own ongoing affair with the sea. Although his images have appeared in countless watersport publications, Greg still donates his photos of marine life to conservation groups worldwide.
“I take much of my inspiration from the water and use it to shoot unforgettable wedding images,” he writes on his website. “Alongside this, I do my best to capture the beauty of the sea and contribute to ocean conservation in any way I can.”
