 November 10, 2012 @ 05:40 PM (EST)

For Amos Nauchum, its go big or go home—literally.

While Amos has shot just about everything under the sea, he is best known for his images of the ocean’s giants: from belugas, to narwhals, polar bears, great whites and everything in between. He has led expeditions with Dr. Eugenie Clark, Dr. Sylvia Earle, and astronaut Buzz Aldrin.

Amos’s images have appeared in publications like Time, Life, The New York Times, Condé Nast Traveler, and right here on Divephotoguide. His photography speciality is understanding and capturing big animial behavior -socializing, feeding, nursing, and giving birth - which is the most complicated and most rewardin. In this edition of DPG’s Photo Series, get ready to go big…
