World Oceans Day 2022 Competition: One Week Left

There’s only one week left to enter this year’s United Nations World Oceans Day Photo Competition! Organized by the UN Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea Office of Legal Affairs (DOALOS), in partnership with Oceanic Global, presented by Blancpain and supported by DPG, this prestigious contest aims to discover stunning images that send positive messages about the importance and beauty of our oceans. The winning pictures will be recognized at the United Nations’ event marking World Oceans Day 2022 on June 8.

The competition has six thematic categories open for photographic submissions:

  1. Revitalization
  2. Above Water Seascapes
  3. Underwater Seascapes
  4. Nature-Based Solutions & Ocean Exploration
  5. Ocean Critters
  6. Coastal Communities
