Winners of World ShootOut 2021

The organizers of the World ShootOut underwater imaging contest have announced the winners of the 2021 competition, with the top prize—Best Picture of the Year—going to Hannah Le Leu from Australia. Themed “Pictures of Your Life,” the contest encouraged entrants to submit their “best and most impressive underwater images, taken anytime anywhere.”
The winners in the 12 categories were:
- Enrico Somogyi (Amateurs, Macro)
- Tobias Friedrich (Best 5 Images)
- Martin Broen (Wide Angle)
- Konstantin Killer (UW Fashion)
- Lars Michaelis (Black Water)
- Pietro Cremone, Marcello Di Francesco and Massimo Zannini (Italy) (Global Championship)
- Murat Kaptan (Humoristic Image)
- Tanya Houppermans (Sharks of the World)
- Nicolas Barraque (Wrecks of the World)
- Francis Perez (Environmental & Conservation)
- Alfred Schaschl (Video Clips of the World)
