2017 World ShootOut Best Picture of the Year
The results of the 2017 World ShootOut have been announced in a live broadcast from the BOOT show in Germany, with Franco Tulli taking the “Best Picture of the Year” top prize.
As usual, lots of DPGers are among the winners, including Jeff Milisen, whose black-water images won him first place in the “Best 5 Images” category; Tanya Houppermans, who took first place in the “Sharks” category; Ken Kiefer, who bagged the top prize in “UW Fashion”; and Greg Lecoeur, who was first in the “Wide Angle” category. Congratulations to all the winners!
Don’t forget that the DPG/Wetpixel Underwater Competition Series continues: While the judges are busy selecting the winners of this year’s Our World Underwater contest, the deadline of the 2018 DEEP Indonesia Underwater Photo Competition is just a few days away—February 10th. Be sure to enter your best images today!
