Windland Smith Rice Photo Competition Weeks Away

The deadline for the Windland Smith Rice International Awards Photography Competition is only six weeks away.
The the annual competition, dedicated in memory of nature photographer Windland Smith, has a May 2 deadline and features several categories applicable for underwater photographers as a part of the Nature’s Best Photography series. Such categories include Oceans, Endangered Species, Animal Antics, Landscape, People in Nature, Power of Nature, Small World Spectaculars, and Wildlife.
The winners of the competition are eligible for various prizes, including display in the Smithsonian gallery and publication in their print magazine. The entry fee is $25 and more information/entry forms can be found on the official website.
