Vote for the Underwater Image of the Year
By Matt J. Weiss, January 10, 2011 @ 11:50 PM (EST)

A whole year of Monthly Contests has passed, giving us 12 amazing winning images. The winners ranged from a backlit shark embryo, to a free swimming ribbon eel to a snooted nudibranch. Now it's time for you to decide which monthly contest winner is the DPG Image of the Year.

Starting today, the DPG community will have 30 days to vote for their favorite monthly contest winner over the past year. The winning photographer will receive trip to Socorro on the luxurious liveaboard, The Solmar V

Voting is easy. Review the winning images below, and then vote for your favorite image at the bottom of the page. You can only vote once, but you can enjoy these 12 photographs over and over again. They truly are a special set of underwater images.
