The folks at UntitledFilms.com have put together an impressive video that explores motion image photography—the ability to actually pull full resolution images out from 4K, cinema-quality video. If it seems a bit like cheating, it’s important to not that pulling stills from video is not a new technique. Just look through coffee table books of some of the best photojournalism images and you will be surprised how many are pulled from 35mm motion picture footage.
