The unfolding saga of the trapped Thai boys soccer team continues as more and more of the children are safe thanks to the efforts of some pretty bada** cave divers. If you need any more proof of that, check out this diagram of the cave.
As of now (Monday afternoon EST), a total of eight boys have been rescued from the cave. Those remaining are four boys and the coach, which are expected to be reached by divers sometime on Tuesday.
For the most part, the boys are in good condition and are being hospitalized only as a precaution. On Sunday, divers took 11 hours to rescue the first group of soccer players from the cave’s clutches. The most recent rescue lasted only 9 hours.
The New York Times has a list of live updates concerning the rescue efforts. It is likely we will hear more about the heroic efforts of the divers in the coming days.
