Updated Versions of Popular Reef ID Books Now Available
By Joseph Tepper, November 19, 2013 @ 06:00 AM (EST)
Chances are you’ve seen them lying around—on a liveaboard, your local dive shop or even the bookshelf right behind you (ahem, like me). The Fish ID books have long been the go to resource for divers—and now they’ve released the latest editions.
The new Reef Creature Identification - Florida, Caribbean, Bahamas is now on its third edition (originally published in 1992), and features many new species in over 1200 underwater photographs. The third edition of the Reef Coral Identification for the same region is updated to include new species and growth variation.
We would also like to congratulate Les Wilk on being honored as a co-author for the books. They are now available for purchase for around $40, and more info can be found on FishID.com.
