We're always excited and proud when our fellow underwater photographers, friends and partners help to expand the boundaries of underwater imagery. Our good friend David Pilosof and the Red Sea Sandisk Competition have done just that by running a very successful event that gained coverage from a major news source, CNN.
This type of coverage helps to bring underwater imagery and marine conservation to the eyes of many people who otherwise would never have been exposed to either concept.
The piece sheds great light on underwater photographers, and you may recognize many of the names and faces in the video. Congrats to all our friends (David Pilosof, Kurt Amsler, Noam Kortler and others), whose words or images will hopefully influence many non-divers who saw this coverage on CNN to think differently about conserving the oceans and reefs.
You can find the full video coverage here on Cnn.com.
