Great underwater photography requires the mastery of many skils, and the one that many people don’t refine nearly enough is post-processing techniques. Which is why attending the next The Underwater Club (TUC) event on September 6th (U.S. times) is such a no-brainer: The creator of the underwater photography school, pro shooter and Nauticam/Mares Ambassador Nicolas Remy, will be talking to the Lightroom Queen herself, Erin Quigley.
Erin, of course, needs no introduction, but let’s do it anyway: She is the first Adobe A.C.E. certified expert to specialize in specific post-processing techniques for underwater imaging and is widely considered the planet’s leading authority on Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for underwater shooters. Her website, GoAskErin.com, hosts a comprehensive library of Erin’s published articles, downloadable resources, and on-demand video tutorials, with her online workshops energizing a huge global audience.
In the two-hour TUC session, Erin will “distill the entire editing process down to a simple, repeatable, step-by-step process from import to export.” In keeping with Erin’s no-nonsense style, we’re promised: “All the basics, none of the BS.” As usual, TUC members join for free, while non-members will need to purchase tickets to the event at AU$49 (approx. US$35). Note that this is also the price of monthly membership, so this is the perfect opportunity to join the club and take advantage of all of the membership benefits.
Here are the event times:
- September 6th, 5pm Los Angeles time (PDT)
- September 6th, 7pm Dallas time (CDT)
- September 6th, 8pm Miami time (EDT)
- September 7th, 8am Singapore time (SGT)
- September 7th, 10am Sydney time (AEST)
- September 7th, 12pm Auckland time (NZST)
