Recognize the above image? That’s because you’ve seen it before: It’s the Gold winner in last year’s Masters Underwater Imaging Competition by DPG contributor and Australia-based pro shooter Nicolas Remy. Now, if you’re wondering how to achieve this cool effect, you’ll want to tune in to Nicolas’s next online event—“Creative Motion Blurs”—run through his online underwater photography school The Underwater Club.
As with his previous event, “Selecting Photos for Competitions,” the event comprises webinars at two different times, to make it more convenient for participants from around the world to join in. The first webinar is on Wednesday, November 22nd from 8pm to 9:30pm AEDT (the previous day from 4am to 5:30am EST) and the second is on Wednesday, November 22nd from 8pm to 9:30pm EST (the following day from 12pm to 1:30pm AEDT).
Members of The Underwater Club can join a session for free, while non-members can buy an event ticket, which costs A$59 (approx. $38).
Remember that this year’s DPG Masters Underwater Imaging Competition is currently accepting entries—and there’s a prize pool of $75,000 worth of gear and trip prizes up for grabs. The deadline is December 1st, so submit your entries today!
