If you love participating in underwater photography contests—and who doesn’t?—you’ll know the name Greg Lecoeur. He is one of our top 10 awardees on Underwater Competition.com, and of course, who can forget his stunning shot of crabeater seals around an Antarctic iceberg (see below) that earned him the title Underwater Photographer of the Year in 2020? His breathtaking images have also been published in National Geographic, GEO, Le Figaro, and more.
Now you can get to know the (French)man behind these iconic images a little more as he joins (another Frenchman) Nicolas Remy for The Underwater Club’s latest webinar. Nico will be sitting down with the acclaimed wildlife photographer for a two-hour conversation that aims to uncover his photographic journey—how he approaches photography, the experiences that shaped his career, and the projects that matter most to him today. If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to create images that resonate worldwide, this is a rare opportunity to hear it directly from one of the best. And don’t worry, they will be doing it in English for the sake of all of us who can’t manage anything else!
As always, TUC members join for free, while non-members will need to purchase tickets to the event at AU$49 (approx. US$35). Note that this is also the price of monthly membership, so this is the perfect opportunity to join the club and take advantage of all of the membership benefits.
Here are the event times:
- May 3rd, 1pm Los Angeles (PDT)
- May 3rd, 3pm Dallas (CDT)
