i-Torch has announced the release of the first photo/video light in its new Venom Series—the Venom38. At 3,800 lumens, it sits midway between the 2,400-lumen i-Torch Pro6 and the 5,000-lumen i-Torch Pro7 in the i-Torch range.
Though it has a fixed beam angle of 120 degrees, there are white, red and blue (UV) LEDs on board, and multiple power settings are available for the various colors: four power levels when using the white LEDs, two when using the red, and one level when using the blue LEDs. The light also includes an LED readout to indicate battery level and power level.
The Venom38 is powered by a rechargeable lithium cell and you just unscrew the tail of the light and plug it in to charge. The unit comes with a charger as well as a YS mount, with a ball mount option via a 1/4-20 screw.
The new light is now retailing for an MSRP of $749.
