A group of Australian divers recently discovered three new species when diving in the Pearse Resurgence, a cave in New Zealand’s Mt. Arthur Range that is one of the world’s deepest flooded caves. They found a never before seen transparent amphipod, a species of worm, and a tiny snail.

Likewise, the worm was also found in the sandy sediments.
