Starfish Traffic Jam Time Lapse

Karin Brussaard takes a fun glimpse into the daily lives of starfish while on a trip to the Philippines.

Using a total of 1500 images she took over two and a half hours' time, this was Karin's first time-lapse video, and gives insight into seemingly stationary creatures.

Time lapses have become amazingly popular among topside photographers, but the underwater world still hasn't embraced shooting style. We hope to see more well executed time lapses underwater in the future.

Karin has been published in a variety of international magazines, including DPG, and shoots underwater fashion as well as nature. You can see some behind the scenes images over at the Daily Mail
