DEMA is seeking nominations for its Wave Makers Award—an honor bestowed to new dive professionals (5 years or less) who are making a difference in the industry. 

There are several qualifications a nominee must meet: 60 months or less as a professional in the dive industry, employed by/own a DEMA-member business, and a record of significant contribution. Nominations are being accepted through August 31, 2018. 

“The Wave Makers Award encourages the Industry to support a culture that fosters innovative thinking and encourages engagement with the association and industry by new professionals,” says DEMA. 
 
The finalists and overall winner of the Wave Makers Award will be honored at the 2018 DEMA Awards Party. Visit the DEMA website to nominate someone making waves in the dive community.
