Subal has released the first images of its forthcoming housing for Sony’s pro-level Alpha 7 series of full-frame E-mount cameras. With the Alpha 7 series, photographers have three options depending on their needs: the 24.3-megapixel a7, the 36.3-megapixel a7R (with no optical low-pass filter), and the 12.2-megapixel a7S, specially designed for videographers and those wanting top-notch low-light/high-ISO performance. As all three cameras have the same body design, the Subal Alpha 7 housing can accommodate all three.
In keeping with the camera’s ultra-compact full-frame mirrorless design, Subal’s Alpha 7 housing promises to set new standards for housing size, weight and portability. We’re also expecting the new housing to boast a full range of pro-level features and accessory options, including viewfinders, ports, lenses, strobes, arm systems and mounts.
DPG will have the full press release and more images soon.
