Austrian high-end housing maker Subal is now shipping its new housing for the Fujifilm X-T4. The X-T4 features a 26.1MP APS-C X-Trans sensor, in-body image stabilization, 4K/60p and 1080/240p video capture, and continuous shooting up to 20fps using the electronic shutter.
The Subal XT4 offers a similar build and feature set to its predecessor housing. As is typical for the company, the housing is made from a solid block of aluminum alloy that is hard-coated and powder-coated; buttons, dials and levers are hard-anodized light alloy, stainless steel, and high-quality plastic; and controls are arranged around integrated handles.
The housing ships with dual Sea&Sea optical ports, and there’s the option of Ikelite, Nikonos V, or Subtronic S6 bulkheads. The standard housing is depth-rated to 80 meters (260 feet), but an optional upgrade allows you to dive to 120 meters (almost 400 feet).
Shipping from mid-November, the XT4 is priced at €3290 for export.

PRODUCT INFORMATION
Subal XT4 for Fujifilm X-T4
The XT4 housing provides access to all the functions of the Fujifilm X-T4. The ergonomic SUBAL housing design and arrangement of all the key controls allows easy camera operation without letting go of the grip. The camera is fitted on a special cradle which enables a precise and faster, more secure mounting. A 4mm O-ring and the SUBAL Quick-Lock closure system prevents accidental crushing of the O-ring and ensures maximum safety. Threaded holes at the base allow the attachment of a tray. Focusing lights can be attached or mounted to the top shoe. The monitor window provides a glare-free and high-contrast view of the camera monitor. Material selection, processing, surface protection and finish conform to the usual high-quality that is common to all SUBAL products. SUBAL XT4 is equipped with bayonet type 3.
