The Open Competition and National Award winners for the 10th Annual Sony World Photography Awards have been announced. The World Photography Organization, in collaboration with Sony, is the world's largest photography competition and received a whopping 227,596 entries last year. Of that nearly 106,000 entries were entered into the Open Competition.
The four competitions: Professional, Open, Youth, and Student Focus, all consist of various categories and overall winners will be announced on April 20th. The National Awards, now in its fourth year, is a global program initiated to award the best images from photographers in 66 countries.
