September Monthly Contest Reminder
By Lia Barrett, September 20, 2013 @ 06:00 AM (EST)

Do you have favorite images of fish that you have never quite known what to do with?  Well you should consider entering them into this month's contest!  The theme for the September is "Fish Portraits," and you can submit your three best underwater animal portraits for a chance to win a Canon G15 housing (a $720 value!), courtesy of the folks over at Fantasea.

Entering is easy: use our simple image uploading system to enter an image or select a picture from one of your existing DPG galleries. You can enter up to three images per contest; and best of all, it’s totally FREE!

A full set of rules and guidelines is available here.

The deadline for entering this month's contest is September 30th, at 11:59 PST.

More about the Fantasea G15 Housing:

The FG15 is Fantasea Line’s stylish waterproof housing for the popular Canon Powershot G15.

The FG15 Housing meets the same high and professional standards of function, style and durability, as featured in the other popular Fantasea F series Housings (FP7000 and FP7100).

The Canon G15 delivers amazing image quality, full HD (1080p) video recording capabilities, fast 28-140mm F1.8-2.8 lens, responsive operation and the most external controls of its class. Photographers will find that the Canon G15, bundled together with the FG15 Housing, provides a pleasurable and professional water sports photography experience. This system is capable of producing stunning results which can certainly compete with those produced by some of the DSLR systems out there.

The FG15 Housing is ergonomically designed, fully functional and features easy-to-use, clearly labeled controls. This shock resistant housing protects your G15 camera from all damaging elements including water, sand, dust, snow, ice and pollutants.

The FG15 has been successfully depth tested to 80 meters (240 ft.)  and is certified to a maximum depth of 60 meters (200 ft.), which is well beyond the 40 meter (130 ft.) dive limit of most compact housings.

The FG15 Housing is compatible with the complete FG15 dedicated accessory line, including wide angle and macro lenses. Additional accessories include a variety of color correction filters, video lights and slave flashes, which enable photographers to further enhance the quality of their images and videos.
