Seacam has announced a new housing compatible with both the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K. Otherwise known as the BMPCC4K and BMPCC6K, the two models have a similar form factor but are based around different sensors, a Four-Thirds sensor and mount, and a larger Super 35 sensor and Canon EF-mount, respectively.
Providing access to all important camera controls, the new housing can accommodate a battery pack as well as an external SSD to extend recording times. An HDMI 2.0 bulkhead allows the connection of an external recorder such as the Atomos Ninja V for capturing higher frame rates such as 4K60p.
Consult your local Seacam dealer for information on availability and pricing.
