Seacam has revealed its new underwater housing for the Atomos Ninja V/V+. The year-old Ninja V+ can record up to 8K/30p and 4K/120p in ProRes RAW, while the Ninja V, introduced in 2018, is capable of capturing up to 4K/60p ProRes RAW.
External buttons allow basic control of the functions of the monitor/recorders, including on/off, play, record, and monitor. HDMI connection to Seacam’s camera housings is via the company’s S20 system. The unit comes with a leak detector as standard, but vacuum valve and pump are optional extras.
The housing is available from retailers such as Backscatter, priced at $2,900.
