Sea & Sea is expanding their repertoire with the announcement of their first housing for a mirrorless camera.
Today, the company released details of the MDX-a6000 for Sony’s a6000 mirrorless camera. As usual, the housing boasts many of the same features seen in the company’s DSLR line—galvanized aluminum alloy, full access to controls, and secure latch system.
There’s also a newly invented format for ML mount ports to accommodate the array of lenses offered by Sony: the 16mm f/2.8 Wide Angle, 30mm f/3.5 Macro, 16–50mm f/3.5-5.6 Zoom, and 10–18mm Wide Angle Zoom lenses. Additionally, the camera’s LCD monitor can be titled in the housing for “enhanced viewing.”
The housing is priced at $1695, and will begin shipping at the end of September. For more info, check out the Sea & Sea website.
