ScubaPortal.it, the most popular Italian Internet scuba diving portal, is updated daily with articles and pictures by famous journalists and scuba v.i.p’s. and also by common people who want to share their personal experiences through words and images. 

ScubaPortal.it counts on a staff of 4 working at the website and 22 others who moderate the message boards and organize meetings almost every week. The mission of ScubaPortal.it is to promote scuba diving and to support members in choosing the best gear, diving centers and trips. In ScubaPortal.it people meet, have fun and talk directly about scuba life and this is possible because now the community is the biggest in Italy. 

In the last three years of work with www.scubaportal.it we've always increased our contacts all around the world. “We realized that we were in fault with these firends who don't understand our language, so we decided to traslate ScubaPortal.it into the international language, English. We've thought for a long time about it before deciding because we were conscious of the huge effort we'd have faced. Here we are now, on the 1st of January 2007, releasing www.scubaportal.net the new english version of ScubaPortal.it, an international window on our beloved scuba world.” 

The Internet domain changes but the policy doesn't: neutrally positioned, ScubaPortal.net is indipendent from any economical operator and offers, at the same time, the possibility to cooperate with whoever wants to provide content aligned to ScubaPortal's editorial guidelines.
