Scuba Divers Aim to Set World Record-Long Dive
As underwater photographers, we love long dives: More time with subjects, less time with people.
But spending a week underwater is taking it to another level. That’s what a group of divers in Utah are attempting to do in hopes of breaking a world record. T he divers plan to remain submerged until just after midnight next Tuesday in order to claim the title of the "Longest Continuous Dive in an Enclosed Environment."
So next time your non-photographer buddy chides you for taking too long to surface, tell them they should just be grateful you came up within a week.
