Issue 7 of Scuba Diver OCEAN PLANET (SDOP) has just been released and will soon be available to subscribers and on magazine shelves in selected countries. SDOP begins the year with a fresh, new look, and a new travel-friendly format that won’t put a strain on your baggage allowance!
The theme of the new issue is “big and small,” and the extensive central feature—“Big Animals and Little Critters”—whisks you off to 20 of the top dive destinations to see and photograph the small stuff and the big boys. The dedicated photography section, Through The Lens, includes the new 12-page section, Underwater Photographer’s Guide, which this issue devotes to Raja Ampat, and tells you everything you need to know about the area’s best dive sites and the techniques (novice, intermediate, pro) you’ll need to shoot its most exciting photographic subjects. This issue’s cover shot is by the talented Matthew Smith.

Subscriptions to SDOP are available from the DPG Shop. SDOP is an evolution of Scuba Diver THROUGH THE LENS (SDTTL), and covers not just underwater photography but also dive travel and lifestyle.
