Issue 6 of Scuba Diver OCEAN PLANET (SDOP) has just been released and will soon be available to subscribers and on magazine shelves in selected countries. SDOP ends the year with something really special—a “Through The Lens” Special Edition introducing readers to 122 inspiring underwater photographers that should be on their radar.

With so many talented shooters out there, the SDOP team had an almost impossible task—given the limited space available in the magazine—and spent countless hours looking into the backgrounds and achievements of photographers from all over the world. The result is an exciting collection of shooters that is neither a ranking nor by any means an exhaustive list, but rather a selection of pioneering and inspirational photographers that everyone should know. The cover shot, of course, had to come from one of the legends of underwater photography—David Doubilet.

The issue includes the magazine’s regular Through the Lens section, which features techniques articles by Alex Mustard, Justin Gilligan, and Joel and Jennifer Penner.
