Issue 2 of Asian Geographic’s new dive publication Scuba Diver OCEAN PLANET (SDOP) has just been released and will soon be available to subscribers and on magazine shelves in selected countries. SDOP is an evolution of Scuba Diver THROUGH THE LENS (SDTTL), and covers not just underwater photography but dive travel and lifestyle as well.
The new issue is all about light—making best use of the quality of light, going to places with awesome visibility, and discovering fluorescent marine creatures. The issue includes some fascinating insight from monochrome master Ernie Brooks II as well as a revealing interview with Shawn Heinrichs, whose light-filled images shine a light on the threats facing the marine environment. Check out Shawn’s beautiful whale shark shot on the cover, as well as the contents of the issue below.
