Borneo dive legend Ron Holland has joined forces with Jeremy Stein, the founder of Rainbow Divers in Vietnam, and reopened this exclusive Dive Lodge off the East coast of Borneo.
The resort closed some 18 months ago for extensive rebuilding & renovations to once again make it a ‘must dive’ destination! There are 12 new detached Bungalows with aircon & hot showers, a central Dive Lodge with Restaurant & Bar and a fully equipped Dive Station with its own Recompression Chamber. A Nitrox compressor has been installed and PADI have awarded the Resort a 5 Star Divecentre status. It is also a DAN AP sponsor.
The diving is definitely world-class – the majestic Mantas are a guaranteed feature as are the Turtles laying their eggs on the Island each evening. Not mention the famous Jelly Fish Lake on nearby Kakaban Island.
All PADI courses are offered as well as residential options up to Divemaster. Instructor candidates will be referred to Rainbow Divers, the only PADI CDC, IDCs & National Geographic divecentres in Vietnam.
One popular option is the ‘whole island charter’. Groups can book the entire Island for up to 24 guests for just $5,000 per day, all inclusive. This makes it extremely cost-effective and bookings are already flooding in! Don’t wait too long…
