Roundup of Photo-Related April Fool’s Jokes

You caught us. There’s not really an upcoming DPG Expedition to photograph the famed Loch Ness Monster in the Scottish Highlands—not yet, at least.
But we weren’t the only ones to hop into some hijinks on April Fools. In fact, the photography industry is notorious for participating in the annual tradition. Photographers, publications, and even manufacturers tried out various pranks on (un)suspecting onlookers.
Photo news website Petapixel has put together a list of some of the best April Fools jokes from the photography world. And while nothing can beat a chance to photograph the Loch Ness monster for the first time, we must admit some of these pranks are pretty great. Check them out!
