RIP Point-and-Shoots?
Herb Greenberg of CNBC believes that Point-&-Click Cameras are going to be extinct soon, being replaced by the ever advancing smartphone market.
With some manufacturers using Android OS to run their cameras, this seems a likely possibility. His opinion is based on statements from the CEO of connector manufacturer Molex at their earning call last week and a 4th quarter drop last year of 33% in point-&-click cameras.
