Retra Announces New Light Shaping Device

Retra Underwater Technologies has announced a new version of their Light Shaping Device, the LSD Ultra.
The company has taken what made the previous model attractive for photographers who like to experiment with light, and added minor improvements. First, there’s an upgrade in optics quality, which help improve the quality of contrast of the light beam against the subject. Also, the aluminum model has been completely redesigned to reduce weight by 100 grams.
The LSD can be attached to virtually any strobe with custom modules, which cost roughly $85. The LSD Ultra itself retails for $325 and more information can be found on the Retra website.
