A mysterious post on the REDuser.com forum is making news, offering barely used cameras at a discounted price of just $7000. The post explains that the cameras were used for an undisclosed project and were only used for about 3 seconds each, but cannot be re-sold as “new.”

“I can't tell you much about it but we just did a massive project with a need for a pretty special 3 second shot, so they rented a whole truckload of Scarlets from us,” said the post offering to sell the cameras at a $4800 discount. “(There are) more Scarlets than most people have seen in their lifetime.
