Nobody rained on this parade. A slight bit of drizzle couldn’t dampen the spirits of the who’s who of the underwater imaging community, which showed up in great numbers to make the 2019 DPG-Wetpixel DEMA party one of the best yet—even if no one jumped into the pool…

Hundreds of divers and underwater photographers gathered by the Rosen Centre pool to kick off the gathering—before moving indoors when Mother Nature decided to make this pool party a bit more drenched than desired. Of course, for such a well-traveled bunch, the migration across the hall and into a ballroom left no remnants of jet lag. The lively attendees made the most of the free drinks and merriment provided by the fete’s generous sponsors.
