In case you missed it, DPG and the Curacao Tourism Board have teamed up to put on a unique underwater photography event unlike one ever done before.

In order to crown the North American Photographer of the Year, DPG picked three of it's monthly contest winners from the last 2 years to compete in a shootout in Curacao. The contestants are on assignment, and will be competing to see who will be the photographer for Curacao's next underwater ad campaign.  The Curacao Tourism Board flew all three contestants out to Curacao, gave them $1000 bucks, put them up at Lions Dive and Beach Resort and provided them with all the diving they needed courtesy of Ocean Encounters. 

But there is a twist - these three amateur photographers are also going against a pro - none other than competition superstar Keri Wilk. So, yes, it's the Iron Chef of underwater photography!  Live video coverage starts now and will continue throughout the week. Stay tuned.
