Video: Photographing Antarctic’s Leopard Seal

What would you do if a bear-sized leopard seal tried to feed you a penguin in the frigid waters of Antarctica? Photograph it, of course!
That’s what Nat Geo contributing photographer Paul Nicklen describes in the magazine’s latest behind the scenes video titled, “Face-off with a Deadly Predator.” As it turns out, the seal’s threat display turned into a giving gesture as it continually tried to feed Nicklen a live penguin.
Needless to say the photog came away with his limbs and amazing behavior shots. See more in the video below:
