If you’ve been following DPG’s Photo Lab column recently, you’ll know who Rico Besserdich is—one of our photo pros who shares his wisdom about “lucky” readers’ images. Now, in the Age of Corona, Rico is embracing the virtual with the launch of a new service that provides highly tailored feedback on your pictures alongside invaluable editing tips.
Called Photo Clinic, the paid service invites you to submit images (at full resolution and in RAW if you wish) for either a comprehensive image review (with tips for improvement) or a review plus post-processing tips. The image review comes in the form of a “personalized video (recorded with a screen recorder) with audio in which Rico will go through every detail of your image.” And if you opted for editing advice as well, the video will additionally show you how to improve the shot via post-processing—in Photoshop or Lightroom, depending on your preference. Rico points out that the service is designed purely to benefit photographers—underwater or otherwise—and videos are never shared with any third party.
The service is available now and prices start from $25. Head over to the “Photo Critique” section on Rico’s website to get started. The first 10 DPG readers get a 25% discount—just use the coupon code “dpg2020” during checkout!
