Penguins Capture Adorable Selfie
By Joseph Tepper, March 12, 2018 @ 08:22 PM (EST)

If you found a GoPro on the street, what would you do? You’d probably take a selfie. Apparently, so would penguins.

A video of penguins posing for a selfie is going viral. Researchers in Antarctica accidentally left a camera behind and a pair of emperor penguins decided to check it out. Because the camera was already rolling, we’re unlikely to see the same legal drama as with the famed monkey selfie fiasco

“Australian Antarctic expeditioner, Eddie Gault, left the camera on the ice when visiting [Auster Rookery near Australia’s Mawson research station],” according to the Australian Antarctic Division

The footage has already been viewed more than 300,000 times. Check it out, below.
